English for Engineering

This English course aims to help future or current engineers develop their linguistic skills as regards the tasks, skills, and vocabulary they will need to use to perform their job duties in an English-speaking context. The goal of this course is not to teach about engineering per se, but rather to help engineergin students and professional to transfer their skills and abilities from an environment in their native language to an English-speaking one.

To make the learning process as effective as possible, you will practise English while getting more familiar with both general business and engineering English vocabulary, grammar, syntax, and professional life situations and skills. To do so, you will be faced with a variety of resources such as videos, authentic situations, and grammar and vocabulary lessons focused on the skills and knowledge you will require.

This course is also scripted. It places you in the shoes of an engineering consultant. Throughout the completion of 10 different projects, you will get more familiar with various professional skills, engineering fields, and linguistic tools that will make you a better engineering professional.
