About the LanguageCert LTE
Whats is the LTE (LanguageCert Test of English) and who is it for?
The LTE is a test assessing the level of English of candidates on their listening and reading skills. The test is aimed at people whose mother tongue is not English. The LTE can be useful to prove a specific level in English, or to meet professional or academic requirements. Both students and professionals can take the test.
The Two Versions of the LTE
There are two different formats for the LTE. Applicants choose the LTE format that is most appropriate for them.
LTE A1-Β1 Listening & Reading :
An oral and written comprehension test, ideal for beginner candidates who wish to assess their level of English reliably and quickly.
LTE A1-C2 Listening & Reading :
An oral and written comprehension test, ideal for candidates who already have an intermediate or high level (B2-C2).
Note: The computerized LTE A1-C2 is an "adaptive" test, that is, it is designed to adjust the difficulty of the questions presented to the candidate at his personal level, depending on his performance during the test . If a candidate takes the LTE A1-C2 on a computer or online at a test center, the number of questions and the duration of the test are reduced as compared to the paper test.
