- Describe a picture: You must describe two images.
- Respond to questions: You’ll respond to three questions on the same topic.
- Respond using provided information: You’ll answer three questions based on visual information provided.
- Express an opinion: You’ll give your opinion on a specific topic.
- Incomplete sentences: Independent sentences missing a word or phrase. Complete each using one of four answer choices.
- Text completion: Several texts with four missing words each. Complete the blanks with one of the four options.
- Reading comprehension: Read a series of unrelated texts and “multiple passages” (documents with 2 or 3 texts). Answer 2 to 5 questions per text.
- Write a sentence based on a picture: You'll be shown a picture and two words. Write a sentence about the picture using both words.
- Respond to a written request: Write an email in response to a specific situation, using a tone appropriate to the context.
- Write an essay: You'll be presented with a debate topic. Write a text explaining and defending your viewpoint.
