Which DELE Level Should I Choose?

Each candidate decides directly which level they wish to register for. For example, a candidate can register and prepare directly for the DELE B2, without necessarily having previously passed the DELE B1.

Level Requirements for DELE B1

  • Deal with a range of situations likely to be encountered while traveling in a Spanish-speaking country.
  • Understand the general ideas of simple texts on relatively basic topics such as work, study, and leisure.
  • Write simple and concise texts on topics that are familiar to them.
  • Describe a wide range of topics (experiences, events, interests, etc.) and briefly defend their opinions.

    • Level Requirements for DELE B2

  • Converse with Spanish speakers in a fluent and natural way.
  • Write well-structured and precise texts and defend their opinions on a variety of topics.
  • Understand the general ideas of complex texts of all kinds, whether the topic is concrete or abstract.
